On May of 2024 I’m involved in the project “We’re Your Huckleberry” an amazing project that celebrates the great Hollywood icon Val Kilmer
The project is curated by Producer Animus Art x Kamp Kilmer and has been presented in Lisbon at the Palácio de Tancos on May 29th at the event Art Beat.

The project consists of celebrating Val Kilmer through the chapters of his biography “I’m Your Huckleberry: A Memoir”. Creating a work for each chapter of the book.
Each work was then minted on MakersPlace where all the works can now be seen.
The chapter I chose for my work “Urban disillusionment” was “Going Up”.

“Urban Disillusionment” is a surreal vision of the eternal struggle between the desire for authenticity and the weight of the past. In the frantic heart of New York, the colossal stone face of Val Kilmer scrutinizes with attentive eyes a younger self running on a bridge suspended among the clouds. This bridge is not just a physical path but an inner journey from urban disillusionment to personal transformation. The city, shrouded in mist, represents the complexities of modern life, while the distant rocks and vegetation symbolize Val’s search for a place where the soul can find rest. This piece invites reflection on one’s life journey, the balance between fate and free will, and the relentless pursuit of an authentic existence.

The project was presented in conjunction with NFC Summit Lisbon during the Art Beat event at Palacio de Tancos – Lisbon il 29 maggio 2024, in collaboration with XCollabz, Transient Lab, Animuslive, KampKilmer, Makersplace

All the artworks of the project were also exhibited in Ghent, Belgium, through Artcrush Gallery from 23 to 25 of May.
