From June17th to 30th Iexhibited two of my artworks to exhibit two of my physical artworks (Lost in the ocean – Let me take a picture) and many animations in Ex Garage via Prenestina 704, Roma, for the exhibition “Sacro Pop” with other italian artists.

The project was a collective of 10 artists who work on a markedly pop contemporary aesthetic, integrating an iconography with references to the classical and/or religious world.
Therefore a sort of modern interpretation of what could be considered an icon nowadays. Biblical quotes and references to classical culture in the setting of a multifunctional space with an industrial aesthetic: Ex Garage presents: SACROPOP. 10 artists chosen for a celebration of Pop aesthetics in contemporary art, an art that winks at the observer, reworking familiar iconographies in a modern, and sometimes completely subverted, way.
