On 11 July OpenAI published on DALL-E Instagram page three collections of ten artworks each made by me commisioned by the comunication team. The Collections explore my poetic in three different ways.
“Melted” collection explores the theme of alienation in contemporary society through the melting of giant statue heads onto a modern design house. The house represents progress and technology, while the melting heads symbolize the loneliness and detachment of individuals in today’s world. The gradual dissolution of identity and human connection is depicted, emphasizing the negative impact of alienation. The artist prompts us to reflect on the consequences of digital connectivity, individualism, and superficial relationships, encouraging us to seek authentic connections and understanding.
“Loneliness” is a collection depicting solitary statues or pairs of statues within abandoned industrial settings covered in colorful graffiti. The statues symbolize the solitude of individuals in a hyper-competitive society, while the graffiti represents a form of human expression in a dehumanized environment. Through this series, the artist explores the theme of loneliness and prompts viewers to reflect on the need for connection and authenticity in a world driven by relentless competition.
“Squeezed” is a AI collection of powerful animations/images that convey the feelings of alienation, oppression, and disorientation experienced by individuals in modern society. Each image features a giant statue head squeezed between two imposing buildings, symbolizing the individual’s struggle against societal forces. The artwork uses a desaturated color palette and detailed facial expressions to evoke a sense of isolation and frustration. Through this series, the artist prompts viewers to reflect on the social dynamics that marginalize and oppress individuals, urging empathy and a call for change.
